Easter to Remember.

Well I hope that everyone a wonderful Easter. With Daddy on this weekend we didn't make elaborate plans. I convinced my mom that some hamburgers and dogs were a great idea since I don't like ham and I feel bad when Kelton misses out. It was a nice time. Then we went outside so Jared could show me some drill to do with my little league team (yup I am coaching Victor's baseball team but that is another post all together). Well it just took one throw from my bro to my son to end that. You can see the results on Victor's face. Given the many trips we have had to the ER for my bro I can at least be relieved that there is just a small bruise and there was no blood or stitches or head injury or broken bones. A few tears, an upset grandma and no more desire to practice today. It is the first time since the first practice last Wednesday that I didn't have a glove and helmet toting son. Hope he is ready for tomorrow nights practice!!

Hanging Out!

So what do you do when Dad needs to sleep and your sick of being stuck in the house? Well we a museum pass for Christmas and put it to use. Here are the kids at a small local museum having fun.

New Camera at the ZOO

For Christmas my parents got us a new Camera. Our other digital was on it's last legs and with the number of pictures I take how do you live with out one. It is a Nikon Coolpix and while I am still trying to learn out how to use it I did enjoy playing with it for the first time at the Zoo. So here are some of my cool pics.

Trip to Virginia

The day after Christmas we left for a week long visit to see Kel's folks down in Virgina. It had been a very long time since I had been down and it had been a few years for Kel and the kids. Thankfully we had pretty nice weather while we were there. The highlight of the trip was the trip to the zoo. We had a beautiful day and it was a really nice zoo. The funny part about it is that I have always told the kids when they are not behaving as well as I would like that I am going to send them to live with the monkeys in the zoo. Well we found "The Monkey Zoo" that they will now be threatened with. There were cages and en closers just full of any type of monkey you could think of at this zoo. I laughed all the way through. The neatest thing was feeding the Giraffes by hand and all the different areas to feed and pet animals. My little zoologist just had a great time and even Vic who wasn't touching anything seemed to have a good time. SO here are some pic's from our trip.
